4th CULIVIAN Seminar

The 4th CULIVIAN seminar presents results from the research projects “The Ethics and Aesthetics of Animal Documentary Film in 21st-Century Western Cultures” (CIAICO/2023/046), funded by the Conselleria d’Educació, Cultura i Universitats, and “Animal Ethics and European Francophone Theatre (2009–2026)” (PID2025-171523NB-I00), funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. The Seminar will be held face-to-face at the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication of the University of Valencia on October 15-16.
The Seminar will feature lectures by national and international specialists focusing on the theme of “Animal Ethics and the Moving Image in Spain.” Topics will include documentary film, fictional film, recorded theatrical performances, television programs, and recordings made by animal rights activists.
The Seminar is open to the public and no prior registration is required. Certificates of attendance will be provided upon request (please contact correo@culivian.es).
