3rd CULIVIAN Seminar
Details
As part of the CIAICO/2023/046 research project, granted by the Conselleria d'Educació, Cultura, Universitats i Ocupació, CULIVIAN organizes its third seminar at the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication at the University of Valencia, on March 10-11, 2025. Throughout these two days, speakers will approach and discuss how different audiovisual formats and genres can become tools through which to teach about animal ethics. The seminar will close with the screening of The Animal Thing (Andrew Linzey, 2023) in Cines Babel. On March 10, all lectures will be in Spanish, and on March 11, they will be in English.
The seminar will be face-to-face.
The seminar is open to everyone (except for the film screening, for which tickets may be purchased online or at Cines Babel's ticket booth).
